A Sixth Thing We Don't Know About You

I can say the alphabet backwards faster than I can say it forwards.

For some reason, my beloved but eccentric father thought that it would be fun to have my brothers and me know the alphabet backwards and forwards - literally - before going to kindergarten.  And knew it we did.

Fun for a laugh to this day.

Do you have any party tricks of your own?

  1. Can you also SING it backwards? That's a great way to confuse your kids! :)

  2. Man, you'll NEVER get a D.U.I. with that little parlor trick up your sleeve!

  3. This is TOO funny! (Can you do it while picking things up with your toes?)

No party tricks here. Well, uh, unless you count talking in accents. Of all sorts.

  4. I can do a mean Kermit the Frog impression, can flip my bottom lip in and out frighteningly fast, and can tie a cherry stem into a knot with my tongue (hmmm...).

  5. No party tricks here. I am very impressed with yours however. And as TKW pointed out - could come in very, very handy!

  6. I can sing and I can draw, things that both come in very handy when raising kids. It never comes up with adults but, let me tell you, it earns me a lot of credibility with kids when I can belt out the Little Mermaid song perfectly!

  7. My dad taught me to spell Albuquerque when I was about four. And the funny thing is, it actually proved really useful when I moved to Albuquerque 25 years later! I can also name the states -- in alphabetical order -- in a matter of seconds.
